美国安防巨头ADT公司，连手韩国LG公司，入“智能家居”战局
身为美国家庭安防领域的巨头ADT公司，日前宣称，他们将与LG公司连手，加入“智能家居”市场，并将在2015年秋天，推出一款“多合一智能家居产品”。ADT称，这款设备，将作为其它“智能家居设备”的中心，用一款移动应用，就能控制所有的设备。
据外媒pcmag报道，美国安防巨头ADT宣布，将联手LG、Nest进军“智能家居”市场。
ADT与LG合作双方正在打造一款all-in-one的智能家居保卫产品，最早可能在2015年秋季正式推出，目前，这款产品还没有名称。
据了解，这款设备是一个能够进行“视频捕捉”、“红外夜视”功能的相机。除了直播视频外，还能够发出警报、作为“室内环境传感器”。此外，该设备支持主要的“智能家居协议”，包括“Wi-Fi”，“蓝牙”，“Z-Wave“，以及“ZigBee”。截至目前，这款产品的价格，以及其他详细的参数还不知道，预计价格会在200到300美元之间。

在硬件方面，ADT与LG正在打造一款他们称作“全方位智能安保”的产品，将于2015秋发布。Cnet报道称这款设备是一个500万像素的照相机，有1080p的、视频捕捉、150度视野、麦克风、扬声器、还有30英尺的红外夜视功能。它能现场直播视频、运动提醒、警报、双向谈话以及环境传感器的功能，而且还将支持所有主要智能家居协议包括Wi-Fi，蓝牙，Z-Wave，以及ZigBee协议。这款产品听起来跟市售的CanaryDIY家居安保设备很像。

大智慧阿思达克通讯社5月18日讯大智慧通讯社周一从阿里获悉，海康威视（002415.SZ）与阿里智能生活事业部宣布达成战略合作，双方将联手开拓智能家居安防市场。海康威视旗下萤石系列产品将搭载阿里智能安防解决方案，计划在年内覆盖百万家庭。
据悉，首款采用阿里智能方案的“萤石”产品，将在2015年5月底上线。随着双方合作力度加大，年内智能视频物联设备，有望覆盖百万以上中国家庭。阿里旗下“天猫”、“聚划算”等平台，将在品牌推广和产品销售方面，给予“萤石”品牌全方位支持，提高“萤石”产品的渠道竞争力。
根据合作协议，“海康威视”旗下“萤石”产品，将与“阿里”智能平台设备终端控制APP“阿里小智”实现直连，阿里智能方案，将帮助萤石跨品牌与各种安防设备互联互通，为未来“智能家”做好准备；而“萤石”将搭载阿里智能解决方案，加速家居安防智能化普及；后续萤石产品的可穿戴智能视频设备、包括各种智能家居硬件等系列产品，也将结合阿里云技术开发推动云端大数据商用。

With the increase in telephone usage in thelate 19th century, ADT's messenger business slowly declined inpopularity. ADT tried branching out and developing their signalingbusiness, while still maintaining their telegraph business asprimary income source. ADT incorporated into Western Union in 1901and separated its messenger business from its main signalingbusiness at that time. In 1909, Western Union and ADT came underthe control of American Telephone & Telegraph Company(AT&T). ADT began to expand into new areas, such as fire alarmsand security alarms between 1910 and 1930, but was kept separatefrom AT&T's Holmes alarm business. ADT became a publicly-ownedcompany in the 1960s.

In 1964, ADT was found to be a monopoly in restraint oftrade. It was shown to provide almost 80% of the central stationalarm service in the United States. They would charge national accountsvery low prices in cities with competitors and much higher priceswhere no competition was available. In the early part of 1987, the firm of Hawley Goodall,owned by Lord Ashcroft bought the Indianapolis-based Crime ControlInc., the fourth-largest company in the U.S. security market, for$50 million.
