爱华网这个学期一直想找一套适合儿子平时阅读的英语书。书的内容要生动，不乏味，发音和编写都要非常地道，最重要的是孩子要喜欢读。
我在亚马逊书店找了一阵子，先是买了一本小学生英语故事，很简单的一个单本书，11个小故事里面，配有光盘。买回来发现，这里面的故事编写像是在翻译文章，朗读一听就是中国人读的，语音语调也非常一般。让儿子读了两个故事后就没有继续让他读了。
前些天，在当当书店又继续寻找，突然发现一套“泡泡剑桥儿童英语故事阅读”的书。这套书一共4个级别，每个级别里面有差不多20个小故事，每个小故事都配有图画，很生动。本来以为是一大本书，买回来一看呀，是独立的20本小故事书，这就更吸引孩子了。果不然，斯霖看到书后非常喜欢呢！
我买了3级和4级的两套书。我就仔细说下这两个级别吧。有兴趣的爸妈们可以根据我的描述去选择低一些的级别或者高一点的级别。。因为网上写的也不是很多。
我先让斯霖自己挑选了一本3级的故事书。在没有听录音之前，我让他自己试着朗读。斯霖除了一些人名和个别单词不会之外，他可以非常流利的把这20页的小故事朗读下来。每页都有配图，下面是英文，每页有2-5句的英文。最后一页是翻译。（看来我之前的担心有点多余了，他的阅读能力还不错．）
斯霖非常喜欢，读完之后又听了录音。录音也很生动，还配有一点动作发出的响声。当然，读音非常纯正的，很好听！周末的时间，斯霖读了3遍，听了2遍录音。他还想接着读其它的小故事，但是妈妈希望他能把故事复述下来或者背诵下来，所以没有让他去看其它的小故事。如果背下来，是有奖励的哦，嘻嘻...爸爸听儿子说了之后，回来跟我说“你可真坏呀”，哈哈。。。儿子自己也不确定能不能背下来，但我相信他对我的奖励非常感兴趣，哈。。我知道这故事稍微有点长，所以告诉他可以参照翻译自己来复述就可以了，适当提示也可以的。
3级，我会把其中一个小故事抄下来，给大家参考。4级比起3级，内容要稍微长点，句型稍微复杂点，用到的时态要多些。总体的难度还是比较合理的。像斯霖的英语程度读4级也没有什么问题。一般系统学习了2-3年英语的孩子都可以读下来。还有1级和2级，我想应该要简单些。
现在抄一个小故事的内容：The Flying Football，这个故事是我们周末刚读过的那个。
Max likes playing football. Every day he plays at school withhis friends. One day, he takes a new football to school. Atplaytime, Max plays football with his friends. But Josie kicks theball very hard. It goes into the big bin near the kitchen. "Sorry,"says Josie. Then the bell rings. Max says, "You go in, Josie. Iwant to get my ball."
Max finds the caretaker. "Mr. Smith," he says. "My football isin the bin." Mr. Smith smiles. "Can it fly?" he says. "Can you getit?" asks Max. "It's new. It's got my name on." Mr. Smith gets theball out of the bin. "Here it is," he says. Mr. Smith washes thefootball. "There," he says. "Now it's clean again."
In school, Miss Parker looks round the classroom. "Where's Max?"she says. "He's getting his football," says Josie. "And where's hisfootball?" asks Miss Parker. "In the bin," says Josie. Max comesin. "Sorry I'm late," he says. "It's my new football." "Can itfly?" says Miss Parker.
At lunch-time, Max and his friends play football again. But thena boy kicks the ball very hard. It flies into a garden. "Oh, no!"says Josie. Then the bell rings. "You go in," says Max. "I want toget my ball."
Max finds Mr. Smith. "And where is it this time?" says Mr.Smith. "In a garden," says Max. Mr. Smith gets it again.
But int he afternoon, Max kicks the ball very hard. It fliesover the fence and goes in a lorry. Max goes into school. He's verysad. "What's the matter, Max?" asks Miss Parker. Max tells her."Oh, dear!" says Miss Parker. "That football can fly!"
At home-time, there's a knock at the door. Mr. Smith comes in."Look at this!" he says. Max jumps up. "My football!" he says. "thedriver of the lorry is ver kind," says Mr. Smith. "You'relucky."
"That football can fly!" says Miss Parker.
我对英语阅读的一点想法：
1）故事要有吸引力，孩子要有兴趣。

2）比起孩子现有的英语水平，阅读的故事的难度不要高于他的英语程度，如果太多不认识的词汇和无法完整读下来的句子的话，孩子会逐渐失去兴趣。
3）故事一定要原版的。要适当的让孩子背诵一些简单的故事。
4）和中文阅读一样，要持之以恒
