Course Overview
Welcome to the I DRIVESAFELY® California Online Traffic SchoolCourse. Your decision, willingness, and effort to participate inthis course give you an opportunity to learn to drive more alertly,efficiently, and safely. I DRIVE SAFELY®has combined years of industry experience as well as professionaloutside sources to design and implement this driver educationprogram. The aim of this course is to help you become a better,safer driver. We hope you share what you will learn with family andfriends.
This driver improvement program is also designed to promote respectfor all drivers as well as encourage observance of traffic laws andtraffic safety responsibilities. The course includes informationthat will assist you in improving your personal driving habits anddefensive driving techniques. It also fosters the reduction oftraffic violations, traffic-related injuries, deaths, and economiclosses. By participating in this course, no points will be assessedfor the traffic violation for which you are attending state trafficschool.
The program consists of the following eight units ofinstruction:
Testing andGrading
At the end of each unit, you will take a 10–question quiz thatreviews important content from that unit. You must pass each quizwith a score of 80% to move on to the next unit. You will beprovided with feedback on any incorrect responses and have a chanceto retake the quiz. The quizzes do not affect your final examscore.
You must also take and pass a 50–question final exam when youcomplete the course. You must score 80% or higher on the final exambefore I DRIVE SAFELY® will process andmail your Certificate of Completion. If you score lower than 80%,you must retake the final exam.
Completion Requirements
You must complete all eight units of the course and pass thefinal exam in order to receive a Certificate of Completion. Eachindividual unit must be completed before moving on to another unit.I DRIVE SAFELY® will issue a Certificate of Completiononly if participants meet all the requirements for the course.

No credit for completion willbe given if the course is completed by anyone other than you or ifyou are assisted by an outside party. When you enroll in the courseyou are stating under penalty of perjury that you, and not anotherperson, studied the material in its entirety and completed thesection quizzes and the final exam. By registering for this course,you understand that it may be a crime to make false statements orto falsify documents submitted to the court.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
School enrollment fees will be refunded within 30 days to anystudent who cancels the enrollment contract prior to completing thecourse. All school enrollment fees are also refundable if:
All refunds must be requested within 30 days after the effectivedate of payment.
Note: There will be no refund of school enrollment fees if astudent fails to pass the final examination, or if the studentfails to pass the course due to circumvention.
