我倒是想说，这个适用性不同，那个孩子可能一辈子都只生存在那个电影院做播放员，但是现在的社会不同，这些学生，将来会越来越现实，留下一个相对理想单纯的小世界其实是幸福的。另外，其实说白了，我觉得作文和辩论两个东西，看似是思想的博弈，其实是技巧的比拼。当做文没有上升到文学创作的水平时，华丽的辞藻和个性化文风是重要的（对此桃李情深表示完全同意）

话题到了大一大二学生这里就转向谈到了校园迈向社会的话题。社会的艰难不是你多多在天堂电影院放映室能认识清楚的，成长的痛苦，不是你高中生在中学教室里做题能体会的。但是人要肩负社会责任，结合社会发展实现自身价值，要走出来（出世）面对艰难，走一番，让人生不虚此行。
所以本人突然想借此引起讨论。对于正处在成年、高中-大学跨越阶段的高三生来说，应该思考迎接现实挑战过程中的一系列包括坚韧、不屈、不公、权衡、妥协这些高中生不太需要关注的令人不屑的字眼⋯⋯
“走出去”迎接现实的挑战，是在完成生命完整（“整个世界”）的体验。在完全自我的世界得不到更大的快乐。
@云端的小草：关于西城一模:看了题目和评论，我想到的是走出这一步后怎么样？出去走走，看到了更多的风景，但并不保证都是光明，甚至满是诱惑和黑暗。这时，是否还有对理想信念的坚守，还是随波逐流，自暴自弃。显然，答案应该是前者。没有经过现实检验的信念不是真正的信念。
再联想到2011西城一模让人印象深刻的小笨A
原题再现“小A走进图书馆，想将架子上所有的书吞咽下去，他说他要解决肚子的问题。小A肚子里装了许多公式，但还是解不开数学题，他去敲老师的门，说要解决脑子的问题。数学得了满分的小A，用数学卷子的背面抄一首贴在楼道墙上的诗，他说除了脑子的问题，还要解决心灵的问题。读过诗,小A发现自己的扣子掉了。他找来针线缝扣子。扣子缝歪了，针还扎疼了指头。小A这才发现，他还要解决手的问题。肚子的问题，脑子的问题，心灵的问题，手的问题，这些问题不仅是小A需要面对的，甚至也是世界需要面对的。”
整个世界有许多问题要面对。
下边这篇文章写的不怎么清楚，是个随笔。但是话题很好，前途和钱途。我很认同这句话：多关注社会问题，从中找自己的方向，我相信我们都可能过得比完全自我的世界幸福而有成就。

各位好，昨天下午跟奇特一起聊了聊，他说起来学习物理可以帮助我们从一个大的尺度上了解我们自己和世界，也可以了解社会生活中其实很多问题跟物理有关，物理的学习可以很有趣。我觉得很有启发。六点正在208会议室准备跟09级的班主任们一起讨论09级的事情，突然听到45乙有同学出事（梦里江河注：北大数院一新生自缢事件），当时心里咯噔了一下，赶快打电话确认。今天学校开会通报了情况，回学院的路上正好中午下课，看着身边走过的笑脸，看着阳光下一切美好的东西，想起躺在医院抢救的那个孩子，本来他也应该和大家一样穿行在校园各个教学楼之间，本来也该去吃午饭了。一念之差人生就此改变。
我相信高年级的同学对于这几年发生在自己和校园里的事情都淡定了。前年我们的一位校友在新年的聚会上曾经说过，在他十八岁的时候，一个学校如果给他十万二十万，他可能就去了。只有当他毕业，长大了，才会明白，人生中最珍贵的一些东西，包括理想主义的情怀，对生活的热情，在北大感受的自由与民主，对科学的纯粹兴趣或者社团的激情远比二十万重要得多。
前两天我听说10级一些同学因为“钱途”和“前途”问题不得其解，我在想，不管是哪一个远方，你们都得付出，打游戏或者逃避都不会有任何一个前途。无论你们期望什么样的生活方式，我相信都不是二十万或者一百万的问题。真正想着挣钱的人，未必是最后得到的人。
周二的时候98级的邓志峰来办公室聊了聊，他是98年的奥赛金牌，念完物理博士，现在自己办实业，他说很多人因为资产泡沫，只愿意做挣钱快的事情，他这样的脑袋，这么快的增长，还是有人觉得他太慢，最好是买卖房产，一倒手就赚很多。如果社会都是这样的心态，这个社会一定出了大问题。他除了挣钱，也做很多公益。我想没有几个人的脑袋转得过他，我愿意跟他聊天，他会有不一样的想法。他从小在农村长大，本科毕业后在美国五年，回来也有几年，我觉得他很清楚社会的问题，但是偶尔发牢骚，更多时候做好自己的事情，不管是实业还是公益，都尽力做好。如果每一个人都这样，我相信社会一定会好很多。
多关注社会问题，从中找自己的方向，我相信我们都可能过得比完全自我的世界幸福而有成就。今年有同学到附中实习，愿意到中学当老师的同学，也抱了一种理想主义，希望通过教育去改变社会。我还记得前几年热播《蜗居》的时候有同学过来跟我谈起社会的物质主义和精神的普遍的沉沦，我很欣慰我们的学生里还有很多人抱有对社会的理想和热忱，抱有对纯粹的学术的兴趣。
今年的新生开学典礼，大一的同学说北大给了你们无限的可能，我深有同感。但愿你们都明白你们的无限可能是什么，你们在北大是多么的幸运。这种无限的可能与绩点无关，与paper无关。物理世界从微观到宏观无限可能，你们的世界也从北大到世界无限可能。活在这里是快乐的。

Cinema Paradiso, the winner of the Oscar Award (in1990) for best foreign language film, was regarded as one of thebest Italian movies. Written and directed by Giuseppe in 1988, itoriginally ran for 180 minutes but was low in terms of box office.It was then cut down to 155 minutes, was further shortened to 123minutes when revised into an American version.
Most of Cinema Paradiso is told throughflashbacks. As the film opens, we meet Salvatore, a famousdirector, who has just received the news that an oldfriend（Alfredo） has died. Before departing for his homevillage of Giancaldo in Sicily the next morning to attend thefuneral, he reminisces about his childhood and adolescence,thinking back to places and people he hasn't seen fordecades.
His memory begins in the villageof Giancaldo (Sicily) during the post-WWII days. Toto, performed byan 8-year-old Italian boy, was a fatherless child and had anextraordinary interest toward movies. Toto would use the milk moneyto buy movie tickets at the local theater, a small place calledCinema Paradiso, which is his main source of joy. In CinemaParadiso, he also develops a friendship with the projectionist,Alfredo, a middle-aged man from whom he got the advices on life andromance; and Toto also learned how to run a movie projector fromhim.
Unfortunately, Alfredo getsblind due to a fire accident, and the little Toto takes his job andbecomes the projectionist of Cinema Paradiso.
When Toto grows into teenage he falls for a girlcalled Elena, but his deeply-felt passion does not turned back thesame way, so he turned to Alfredo for advice, and makes acourageous decision, to stand outside of Elena’s window every night and wait for his love. In theend, he wins her love, but this happy moment is not long lasting,follows by the disappointment and sadness ofElena’s leave. Afterthat, he takes Alfredo’sadvice again and leaves the small village and goes toRome.
30 years later, Toto becomes a famous director inthe filming industry. Suddenly one day, he gets the news aboutAlfredo’s death from his mother, which corresponds withthe beginning scene of the movie. This sudden news brought him intothe memory of his childhood and adolescence.
a. Do you remember the scenes of cinema when yousaw the movies with your parents in your childhood? The Shantymovie theater, crowded audience with desired eyes, oldscreen…In this movie, you can find allof these. Besides, the scenes of kisses were cut off because thatconservative priest believed that they wereblasphemy. Watching movies almost become the most interestingactivities in this town.
b. From the report of anewsreel in the cinema, Toto finds his father’s name in the name list of the death in WWII. Buthe is so young that could not understand all of these. In contrast,his mother says nothing, just lead him home, weeping byherself.
The war is cruel, not only forthe soldiers ,but also for their families. If you see the movienamed Malena which shares the same director with CP, you mayunderstand it much better.
c. Toto meets Elena , thebeautiful daughter of a rich banker. Toto just waited for thelovely girl outside her house, day after day, month after month.With Alfredo’s help, he wins her heart, leading to what Iconsider the most poignant kiss in movie history. Their romancedies when Elena’s fathermoves the family away.
d. Alfredo is just likeToto’s father and bosom friend. He tells Toto aninexplicable love story about a princess and a soldier. But hedoesn’t give the reason for thatsoldier’s leaving at thelast moment.
When Toto is about to go to Rome, he tells Alfredothat he have understood that soldier’s choice—That soldier was just afraid of the 100days’waiting turned to be theprincess’s refusal.Actually, that is also Toto’s choice.

Alfredo: No, Toto. Nobody said it. This time it's all me. Lifeisn't like in the movies. Life... is much harder. If you don't walkout, you will think that this is the whole world.
This part of dialog sounded soplain, at the same time, it is really practical and profound. Lifeand movie are quite different, movie just shows us an extremity oflife. We may face with much more choices in our life. How to make achoice, a right or rational choice, they always scratch our headover. Believe it or not, the choice that you get to make will shapeyour life forever. If Toto finally stayed in Sicily, kept onsearching and waiting for his true love, his life must be extremelydifferent. A true love which everyone may meet with only one timeor a successful movie director in Italy, which is the mostimportant one? It is a confusing question.
f. It is important to know justhow significant “the screen kiss”is to Cinema Paradiso. Early inthe film, the local priest previews each movie beforeit’s shown to thepublic, manipulating the power of his office to insist that allkissing scenes be removed. By the time the new cinema opens,however, things have changed. The priest no longer attends themovies and kisses are no longer censored. Later, following thefuneral near the end of the film, Salvatore receives his bequestfrom Alfredo: a film reel containing all of the kisses removed fromthe movies is to be shown at the Paradiso. It is perhaps thegreatest montage of motion picture kisses ever assembled. AsSalvatore watches it, tears come to his eyes. The deluge of intensepassion acts as a powerful reminder of the simple, yet profoundpassion that has been missing in his life since he lost touch withElena, his one true love. It is a profoundly movingmoment.
Conclusion
Cinema Paradiso brings us a kindof mix-feeling. This cinema itself is just like aperson’s life which contains growing, frustration, love,boom, success, decline and death. Through this movie, you mayunderstand more about live, love and choice. Besides,Toto’s memory about hischildhood will contribute to a sympathetic response of yourthinking.
The movie is over, buteveryone’s live is keeping on. Our memory is a kind ofalcohol, but we cannot drink it too much. After that, you have tomake a good performance of yourselves in your lifetheater.
