3. furniture ['f?:nit??] n.
(1)“家具”的总称，不论被什么词修饰，其前面都不加冠词a，也不用复数。
(2)furniture表示数量时，“一件家具”用a piece of (an article of) furniture；“许多家具”用pieces (articles) of furniture；说多少家具时不用many, few，而要用much, little。
There isn't much furniture. 家具不多。

We consider him( as/to be) our friend.=[We treat( regard) him as our friend.]我们把他当成我们的朋友。
