爱华网2014年4月17日，哥伦比亚著名作家加西亚·马尔克斯在墨西哥首都墨西哥城因病去世，享年87岁。哥伦比亚总统曼努埃尔·桑托斯当天在其个人微博上说，马尔克斯是史上最伟大的哥伦比亚人，伟人永远不会与世长辞。
